Today we went for a hike in the Disney Wilderness Preserve located in Kissimmee Florida. This area was bought by the Walt Disney Company to mitigate its expansion and was transferred to The Nature Conservancy to create a nature preserve. We did a short 2.5 mile hike out to Lake Russell where we had a nice picnic out by the water. We saw a few alligators and the tracks of a raccoon and a sand hill crane. Other than those, we didn't see very many animals. Just a lot of bugs. It was still a very interesting and exciting trip to the Disney Wildlife Preserve. If you would like more information or would like to visit the preserve yourself you can find more information here: https://www.nature.org/ourinitiatives/regions/northamerica/unitedstates/florida/placesweprotect/the-disney-wilderness-preserve.xml Join us tomorrow for another new video.
