We Went Hiking At The Disney Nature Wilderness Preserve! | Free Fun Things To Do In Orlando!

Today we went for a hike in the Disney Wilderness Preserve located in Kissimmee Florida. This area was bought by the Walt Disney Company to mitigate its expansion and was transferred to The Nature Conservancy to create a nature preserve. We did a short 2.5 mile hike out to Lake Russell where we had a nice picnic out by the wildlife lookout area. We saw a few birds and the tracks of a coyote (maybe?) and a sand hill crane. Other than those, we didn't see very many animals. Just a lot of bugs. It was still a very interesting and exciting trip to the Disney Wildlife Preserve.
