Walt Disney: One Man's Dream is an interactive gallery in Disney's Hollywood Studios featuring memorabilia from the Disney archives that have never been available before. Visitors are shown artifacts from Walt Disney's life and from the history of the company he founded from his birth in 1901 through the company's vision for the future. In addition, the attraction includes a short film of Walt Disney's life that explores the extraordinary hardships he overcame, as well as previously unseen footage, including Walt talking about his creation, Mickey Mouse. It opened on October 1, 2001 for Walt Disney World's 100 Years of Magic celebration. Among the artifacts on display: A model of Main Street, U.S.A. from Disneyland, An Oscar for 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, a model of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Walt Disney's actual office from Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California. As of August 2010, the attraction will briefly close for a rehab and redesign till November 2010.
