Volunteer Family of the Year Celebrates Dream Disney Vacation

The Aguirre family from McAllen, Texas, runs a nonprofit organization in their community that delivers 40 meals a day to people in need. In recognition of their amazing generosity, the Aguirres were named “Volunteer Family of the Year” by The Walt Disney Company and Points of Light as part of a nationwide search conducted on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

The Aguirres were joined by the contest’s four runner-up families on a VIP trip to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida to celebrate their altruism.
