TRON Lightcycles Arrive at Magic Kingdom, Construction Update | Walt Disney World

Greetings, programs! ~Hop~ aboard your Lightcycle and take a look at the construction progress on TRON Lightcycle / Run, now programming at Magic Kingdom.

The new TRON roller coaster is being built next to Space Mountain and Tomorrowland Speedway (0:08). Construction recently hit a major milestone with the installation of over 3,000 feet of track. ~Hop~ aboard the Lightcycles and take a photo (0:26) in anticipation of this new attraction. Notice how the handles pull down the back brace (0:44), which means we will be riding this coaster leaning forward like a bike or motorcycle. Seeing these gorgeous Lightcycles has us frogs ~hoppin’~ excited to ride this roller coaster! TRON Lightcycle / Run is scheduled to open at Magic Kingdom in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary in 2021.
