Splash Mountain will close at Walt Disney World tonight, as the attraction is being reimagined to Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Take a trip back in time to the opening of the ride, when this iconic rap got guest ready to board Splash for the first time. The original Splash Mountain opened in 1989 out in Disneyland, and that original ride will also shut down later this year. For fans yearning to ride Splash into the future, Tokyo's version of the ride will remain intact...for now.
