On Dec. 6, 2012, Walt Disney World held a grand opening ceremony for New Fantasyland featuring actress Ginnifer Goodwin and singer Jordin Sparks, who performed a medley of classic songs from Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, and Dumbo - including a rare character appearance by Dumbo himself! Also on hand were Disney princesses, the Storybook Circus Giggle Gang, Belle, Beast, and more characters as well as celebrities in the audience and Disney Parks & Resorts chairman Tom Staggs on stage.
