To celebrate Disney's first D23 Expo, Lego encouraged Disney fans to participate in a four-day collaborative build of an 8x15-foot Lego mural celebrating Walt Disney's iconic characters like Mickey Mouse, Tinker Bell, Goofy and Buzz Lightyear amongst others.

Comprised of more than 150,000 Lego bricks, the mural featured 19 colors and was built by Lego.

4,000 Expo attendees took part in the Disney Consumer Products showcase at the Anaheim Convention Center, Sept. 10 to 14, 2009.

The company unveiled 2010 Lego Brand Disney "Celebrity" Minifigures and showcased a life-size Buzz Lightyear as part of the four-day celebration.
