Full Tour of Disney's Blizzard Beach

On this week’s episode of Beyond the Kingdoms, we take a trip to one of Disney’s water parks, Blizzard Beach. On April 1st, 199t, this park became Walt Disney World’s third water park to open. According to legend, a freak snowstorm barrelled through central Florida, dumping a mountain of ice and snow on an obscure mountain. The locals seized the opportunity to build Florida’s first ski resort. But as the hot sun melted the slopes, slush-filled slides were created. Today’s tour features a look at all the attractions at Blizzard Beach, which is also the better water park of the two for toddlers. Tike’s Peak is a fantastic place for 3 and unders to splash around and have fun.
