What is better than a dinner with live music? Watching two pianists challenge one another in a good old fashioned showdown! ~Hop~ along as we check out Showdown at The Golden Horseshoe!

The Golden Horseshoe saloon dates back to the opening of Disneyland Resort in 1955. Did you know that Walt and Lillian Disney celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in this very saloon? Showdown at The Golden Horseshoe is a comedic dueling piano show that includes classical, ragtime, country and western musical styles. Listen as these pianists play variations of classic Disney songs. You might recognize this song from the cantina scene in “Star Wars: Episode IV” (0:29). The showdown begins when they challenge each other to a duel of “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” (1:22). This is a fun new addition to Disneyland Park, and lends to the rootin’, tootin’ atmosphere while you enjoy some old west-style grub at The Golden Horseshoe restaurant.
