On this week’s episode of Beyond the Kingdoms, we return to one of Disney's water parks, Typhoon Lagoon. A long time, on the shores of Placid Palms Resort, a sudden typhoon completely wrecked the quiet beachside resort. Leaving behind a scene of total wreckage but an array of fun water slides down a volcanic mountain. Thus, Placid Palms was renamed Typhoon Lagoon. This is Disney's oldest water park still in operation, and is one of the most visited in the world. The theming and design details will make you think you've stepped into a water park version of the Adventurer's Club. The park is filled with fun slides for the whole family and some thrilling new additions such as Crush 'n' Gusher and Miss Adventure Falls.
